Maddie Box is a local Bloomington artist who loves to find ways to provide creative performance opportunities wherever she is. In 2018, Maddie graduated with a BA in Musical Theatre from West Texas A&M University and moved to Chicago to pursue Theatre. Long story short, Maddie and her husband ended up here in Bloomington and she has loved the arts community that such a small town is able to offer. Having performed in theatre all of her life, Maddie started Fairytale Friends as a way to inspire young artists to want to perform in an unexpected way and to showcase that theatre performance doesn't always have to have a stage, it can be in a park or a backyard or even someone's living room.
We enjoyed every minute of it! Even the adults had fun.
